I took my little pup Caitie to explore the Pasadena Chalk Fest, which takes place annually over Father's Day weekend. Unfortunately the heat
wave limited our stay so we weren't able to cover the whole event. For
the good of the artists, there were lots of shade umbrellas, but they
made photographing the work quite difficult.
This event is just so much more striking in person. If you're in the area, make it a priority to go--and take your dad!
