Disaster Preparedness for Pets

I came across a website today which gives great information to pet owners on preparing for emergencies. Hurricane Katrina pointed starkly to the need to be prepared for all family members, including pets. Check out all the advice on EvacuateMyPet.com. It provides questions to think about in advance when preparing an emergency kit and evacuation plan. I know it pointed out my deficiencies. Now I can work towards being ready, whatever the circumstances.
