Sweets Truck at the LA Wine Fest

Working the LA Wine Festival this year gave me the chance to try a mobile food truck I'd heard about but never experienced--the Sweets Truck.

Since I'd be drinking alcohol all afternoon, I tried to go healthy with my lunch--I ordered the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie.

I was disappointed that the employee smooshed my pie when she bagged it up, so that it didn't photograph well. It tasted wonderfully though! Fresh and moist, with real shredded carrot, the cake had a nice texture. And the cream cheese icing was smooth and not overly grainy-sugary.
