Port of Los Angeles Lobster Fest

The Port of Los Angeles is holding a Lobster Festival and Music Weekend on September 18, 19, & 20, 2009! I know my dad would enjoy this event. We've gone down to the port just for seafood when my folks have visited.

The World's largest lobster festival, the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival features fresh discount Maine lobster meals and plenty of entertainment. Lobster lovers enjoy a scenic outdoor park and shops at Ports O' Call in San Pedro, California. After feasting on world famous lobster meals, guests enjoy dancing, parades, street performers, a pirate camp, tall ships, shopping for arts and crafts, and musical performances by some of today’s best up-and-coming acts and tribute bands.

Entertainment is free with admission. Parking is free, and kids under 12 are admitted free. Pets are not allowed.

Cash only accepted at the box office. Full price entrance is $9, but there's a coupon on their website for $2 off. For the coupon or more info, check out the official site here. The coupon is on their "ticket" page.

Anyone been to this event in past years, or planning to go? Leave me a comment on the blog if you have any information on this event.
