Old Pasadena Film Festival

Old Pasadena Film Festival is a three-week free movie series that unites film with urban settings, featuring more than 20 screenings, celebrity appearances and works by emerging filmmakers on Fridays and Saturdays, July 10-25, 2009.

They're showing all sorts of cool stuff, like Shirley Valentine, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and Sixteen Candles. For the full details, check out the Film Festival Schedule, and the The Old Pasadena Management District's homepage.

You can even go Metro to the Old Pasadena Film Festival. Take the Gold Line to the Memorial Park Station, 125 E. Holly Street.

Admission is free, and chairs will be provided at all screenings.
